What is a Rising sign, moon sign and sun sign?

My rising sign is sagitarrius and i was born july 13. I'm a cancer. So can anyone also tell me about that. Thanx!!

The sun sign is determined by the date you were born. Which year were you born? If you look at an ephemeris for July 13 of your birth year, you'll see that the sun is 20 degrees of cancer, and you'll see which sign the moon was in in that year on that date.

The rising sign is calculated by the time of birth. It is the specific moment you entered earth/time and space, as a separate entity, and represents your birth experience, and shapes how you approach life, and how you "present" to the world.
