Do geminis and scorpios have a peculiar karmic bond, for good or for bad?

I read that signs five or seven spaces apart on the zodiac wheel have a karmic connection. Is this true?

When I say Karmic bond, I don't mean a good match, but drawn to each other's huge differences to learn from each other. Altho incompatible in virtually every other aspect.

Mel is entitled to his opinion, but I am a Scorpio female and I have had the worst experiences with male Scorpios, generally speaking.
I think it goes to show that no matter what your sign is, the particulars of your chart will determine more about your karmic bonds with other signs than a general assumption. The other Scorpios I have known have found Gems too shallow and fleeting, while the Gems are put off by the intensity. One of my best friends is a Gem though.
When we first met I was totally offended by something he said (lol) But we became the best of buddies later.

Scorpios have bad Karmic connections with everyone except other Scorpios.

Uh...no. I think it's Scorpio and Virgo that have the karmic bond actually.
