Was she Insulting me In a round about way??

A friend of mine ( we are not best friends and only see eachother every couple of months) asked me what star sign I was. And when I said I was a libra she laughed and snorted ans asked if I was sure I wasnt a scorpio?? What Is she meaning or getting at??

Librans are pleasant and usually good-looking with a good sense of colour and form. Scorpios are usually described in a darker, less pleasant way by the uninformed.

Tell her, " I have Mars in Scorpio so I don't react well to criticism and I never forgive and forget- I take it you are a Gemini, naive, shallow and economic with the truth?", preferably with a forced smile on your face, and wait for a reaction.

Always remember, you can only really be insulted by someone who is intellectually or socially superior to yourself - and she is obviously neither.

Perhaps she associates some of your personality traits with what she knows about Scorpios. You would have to ask her what she meant or was getting at.

Laughing and snorting? Ha, ha - it sounds like an insult to me.

I've done the same thing with a friend myself when I was a bit tipsy. He told me he was a cancer and I laughed and asked him if he was sure about that and to give me his birthday so I could make sure, because he certainly didn't act like one.

A day later he told me he thought I was funny when I was drunk! ^_^

But in fact, all I wanted to do was check the rest of his chart to see how much of it was in Gemini.



So I don't think your friend meant anything bad or insulting by it. She might have just noticed a typical scorpio trait in you, which could be explained by the rising that might be there, or venus or mercury. You're still a Libra sun, though, so don't worry ^_^
