My best friend is a Aries(female) & I'm a Cancer(female) we tend to argue alot, how can we prevent that?

I'ma hot head and so is she. We argue so much and we never talk about things afterwards. She ignores it and I do as well. I understand that Cancer/Aries are not compatible in romance but what about in friendship? She's been my friend since forever but when we argue everyone say we argue like a "married couple". Does our signs affect our friendship? Just curious...Thanks

The reason why you're not talking about things afterwards is because both of you are non-confrontational. I know this probably makes no sense to you on the surface since you argue a lot, but believe me when I tell you that there is a big difference between bickering and discussing issues of the heart. Both of you are very sensitive; yes Aries girl, YOU are too! You care for each other, so naturally you don't want to hurt each other's feelings, and Cancer fears any form of rejection---especially from a best friend!

You're both Cardinal signs so you tend to both want to take the lead and you're both very stubborn indeed! Aries likes things done "My way or the highway" and Cancer is tenacious about not bending to the will of others. Know that your Cancer friend is as deep as the ocean and would do anything for you and your friendship, even if it isn't always apparent on the surface. If you could be the one to initiate the conversation about the source of your arguments, you'd see a very relieved crab! She'd be very open to discuss it with you, but you're going to have to be the one to initiate that talk since Cancer's fear rejection. This friendship has a lot of tough challenges. Aries can be really bossy and gets crazed when Cancer digs in her heels and won't budge. Cancer hates being told what to do and thinks that Aries should just mind her own business. Aries needs to be a little less critical and Cancer shouldn't take everything so personally. If they can work through their differences, they could end up with a lasting friendship.

You can prevent the arguing by trying not to get into controversial conversations in the first place. It will never be a match (friendship) made in heaven. You probably don't talk about it much afterwards because Cancers need to be prodded, with sensitivity, into disclosing their feelings . She doesn't see the need for closure; and you both know that the argument will just get fired up again if you start trying to process it.

That's the beauty of this friendship. You can argue & not have to talk about it afterward. It just fades away & you are back to normal. Aries/Cancer friends just bounce back & do not hold grudges. It's perfect, see? Because you don't hold back your feelings or emotions during the heat of the moment, (so you can vent) but it doesnt affect the overall friendship.
