Do horoscopes and mood rings really work?

I dont read horoscopes..a waste of my time I gotta say cause they never match me, but some foreign newspapers and a few sites work some times, not always.
And mood rings well I just have one cause it has very pretty colors and it looks cool, but it does seem to match my emotions, except whenever I'm in this one place it always turns black..fear or in danger.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that horoscopes are a complete waste of time...unless you put stock into them. I had to write horoscopes for the school newspaper, and when I asked my editor what I was supposed to say, he said quite plainly: "Make it up." I was a little surprised, but I did, and it was fun. I tried to make them realistic, like think of a situation everyone goes through, and put that. For example:

Scorpio: Stop looking over your shoulder. You got burned, but if you don't watch where you're going you might miss someone special.

This probably applies to about half of the people over age 16, regardless of what stars were in the sky at the time of their birth.

As for mood rings, I think the color might affect the mood more than the mood affecting the color. But I don't know what's in them.

I strongly believe that mood rings are caused by body temperature. Hold it tightly in your hand and you will see it change. As for horoscopes, I do not believe they are true, just good guessing. But you never know I suppose.

Some forms of Astrology may be real, but horoscopes are just generalized info; and mood rings are controlled by temperature. If you are irate you are much warmer which would change the ring drastically. If you are mellow, you could be cooler in temp, which would also be affected.

they both serve a purpose. However, inanimate objects don't have jobs.

I guess it's all in the mind, whatever you feel is a good choice can be laid out by your horoscope-that's why they're soooo broad, it leaves all of the interpretation up to the individual as to the application.
As far as mood rings go, I think they're a novel idea. They're cute and they work on the body's temperature in relation to emotion. I was big on the mood lipstick when I was in school!

mood rings are by temperature. Horoscopes only come true because you're looking extra hard for them to come true, for instance if it says you'll find money, then you'll be looking extra hard for money so of corse you'll find it. They make it vague enough so that it pretty much always comes true in your mind. But I still like to read them for fun.

Horoscopes= Yes

Mood ring= No.. They just change colours by the temperature in the room.

Hi! I truly believe that horoscopes are real and they're really accurate! but mood rings.. mm not so much, I also believe that mood rings are caused by body temperatures, for example, when you're afraid,and scared your body tends to release a kinda chemical that causes the body temperature to decrease. Put your mood ring into the freezer and watch it turn black. as for when you are excited, your body will release endorphines and your body temperature would increase also causing the ring to change to red ( i think it's red? :D ) anyhoo it's still tons of fun and looks really cool!
