Do the fire signs and scorpios generally thrive on confrontation and conflict?

I just heard this somewhere, and would like to know If this is true?

Yeah, I've got a Leo moon and scorpio rising so I have some aggressiveness in my personality.

It's the energy that is enticing. It's the rush, the excitement, the interaction, spontaneity and the unknown that fire signs and Scorpio's thrive on. The fact that confrontation and conflict have some of these same characteristics is just a coincidence.

scorpios are more likely to keep it in. or till the right time but ussualy never on the spot. Scorpio although co-ruled by mars, is still a water sign. it hurts them more than you think they hurt you

Fire signs are the ones ussualy all out war, im sure youve met an Aries before =)

EDIT: your moon and rising isnt in harmony with each other, which would probably give you some bursts of anger out of nowhere

Well fire signs are naturally warm and exciting. We fire signs are always oon the go and just never stop going. Fire spreads and so do we. We do love a good fight but we also love making up too.

Perhaps that's right for the fire signs...it's because, they don't see disagreements or fights in a negative way. They need them...they think they're essential for a normal relationship.

However, I wouldn't say the same for Scorpio(despite having Mars as a ruler). Maybe because, they are water signs.

I'm a Scorpio with Leo rising. It's true I'm afraid. We live for the fight. If there are no enemies, no opposition, no battles...we have no energy to live in this boring world.

Fire signs like to fight only when they are angered. They may also say things they dont mean to say. They are normally self controlled people.But they can dare to fight if the situation calls for it.
I would say the air signs thrive on conflict. They engage other parties in the fight and enjoy the conflict. I have seen Geminis can quarrel at the drop of a hat. Libras instigate arguments, rejoice and then play the peacemaker in the process.Aquarians are the same.
The air signs are also gossipy and can wash dirty linen in public, theirs and others. the fire signs are too dignified to do that.

I'm an Aries (fire) and I don't like to fight at all. But I get very easily aggravated and agitated...which makes me feel inside like I want to fight. But I don't fight though.
