The moon doesn't dominate the personality so to speak, but it can in fact be the part of yourself that you're always struggling with. There are aspects of my moon in Scorpio that I am always battling with---possessiveness, jealousy, a photographic memory that can be an aid when I need to recall something but can also have a negative effect because I never forget a slight to my pride or emotional wound.

On the upside, the postiive aspects of your moon sign can be of great strength to you. The positive aspects of my Scorpio moon is an intuition about people or places, that has certainly help spare me a lot of difficulty---I am also quick to get to the bottom of things and this helps a lot with people or occupation.
