Are Scorpios usually successful?

and why are they?

i think it is due to the fact that their work is their passion... it starts w that infamous scorpio i desire- then the determined pursuit. w/o a passion scorpios would be a depressed grey lizard mad and bitter at the world- all b/c of the pent up energy that needs to be developed into a passion...
i think an idle scorpio or even worse a scorpio going through life just for the hell of it- wherever life takes them... should find something they are passionate about and that makes their success...
i think unsuccessful scorpios are just unmotivated or relunctant and allowing their imagination to run on the negative side or as well as letting maybe a negative enviornment or background control their emotions/beliefs... but it's never too late for them to be "successful"

The only one I've ever known personally is very motivated, intense, and determined. He has a very successful career, but is very withdrawn and shut off emotionally. He will always do well in his business life, but I feel his personal life will always lack something he needs more of...warmth and love.

Scorpios are ruled by Pluto, the planet of nuclear power. Scorpios all the time desire and if they desire something they get it. Scorpios are very powerful people and usually what they want, sooner or later they get it. If success is what they want I am sure they will get it. But there are also scorpios who are failures and have given away to drugs and alchohol. Those are gray lizards, which is one of the three types a scorpio can be. A scorpio has to be conscious of their own power to achieve something, and they usually are aware of that never ending power. Pluto has nuclear power and whenever a Scorpio wants more power or strength to do something Pluto, its ruler supplies them with it.

the ones i know are among the successful ones in their own leagues/ field. why? hmmm....simply put, nothing brings them down. well, almost, nothing gets in their way when they want it, they get it.
