As a Capricorn I 'lock horns' once too many with my Cappy son. However, I love him to death.

nope. love extends to both. Of course one personality may be harder than the other but you love covers them all... at least as a mom.

Hmm. Although im not a parent. But honestly, as a child, i think we should not prefer one kid over another. I think it is quite unfair. Both are your child, what's the differnece? Gender wise? I dun think its right.

Sometimes parents will identify with and favor a child of similar birth order. For instance, if a mother was an eldest sibling, she will probably favor her eldest daughter slightly more than her other children.
Also, middle children tend to be neglected slightly more than the eldest or youngest.

im not a parent but i do have something to say on this. my parents like me the least out of 4 kids and it sucks. they dont even try to hide their dislike and when i confront them they deny it saying that all parents love all of their kids the same.but they dont. they love their oldest, their youngest, and their only boy, but not me. it hurts me alot and they dont even know... :(
to all the parents who read this, please try to treat all your kids the same so they dont go through what i go through, it makes life miserable

I'm not a parent...but my mom had 3 kids. 2 boys and me. She has never preferred one child over another. She loved all 3 of us equally.

Not usually but Im more like my son cuz he is a Pisces too but he also has ADHD which makes him difficult.. But his heart is huge... I love the things he says like "Mom its so good to hear your voice". My daughter is Aries, and she never says things like that. It warms my heart when he does that and Ive seen him get so excited about Moms day.. My daughter will turn her back to me when Im there like Im not around and it can hurt me.. Son will make more eye contact..

Im not a mom but the oldest of five- my siblings are awesome to hang out w- yeah some are easier and more model perfect children and some are rebellious as hell, but i would die for them... when i talk about them it's mainly good- i rarely find myself angry w them... i love them all the same... you just cant buy memories and happiness like they bring- you forget about all the things about them that make you nuts... we hug all the time and go places together

he is deep and full of love although I hate to admit it he understands me,and often clams me down after one of my fabled "Scorpio wrath"He isnt the brightest blub in the lamp but hes kind and genorus,and seems to see the good in everyone.

Steven my second eledest is a Gemini
although he can be vain he never fails to make me laugh.And strangley enough we share a strange connection.Tom and Steven are a bit of a double act being only a year apart they are closer than close.

The typical Scorpio who shares my fasionation with vampires.Being slightly gothic (like me) he can often come across as very cold hearted.But when he feels like it he can be extramly entertaining and funny

shares his and my vampireic looks we all have black hair plale skin and green eyes.Rose apparntly is my self in miniture we can both see the good in people.And we both love exreamly loyaly.She is sirtenly not as dark as Chris.She enyoys the company of her elder brothers Tom and Steve and is often in fits of laughter after being with them for little for than 5 minuets

well I have a boy, 8 and a girl, 4. I'm gemini, with taurus rising and aquarius moon; my boy is taurus with scorpio rising and an aquarius moon and my girl is gemini with aries rising and a scorpio moon. I think parents prefer certain signs in children the same as they prefer certain signs in romance, but since both my kids'charts have a lot in common with mine and they're of different ages and genders I can honestly say I don't have a "preference". If they were closer in age and of the same gender, or one's chart were radically different from my own, I might have a preference but how can one compare a chatty and exuberant young girl to a serious and philosophical older boy?

No...I love them both the same, honestly...they are best friends and it's soooo cute how much they love each other =)

I don't have a child yet nor am I married

but I know for sure that most parents have a preference sometimes it is the youngest that they dote upon or if they have 3-4 girls and one boy they will dote on the boy

but it really depends upon the parents

I know mine does but I'm not bothered =), when I was younger I use to be bothered by that

I guess I learned to understand =)
