Aquarius male and Leo female, does this combo work ?

I've had a boyfriend for over a year who doesn't seem to care about other people's feeling, including mine, is this an Aquarius trait or is this just his own failing ?
i'm about ready to split up with him because i'm feeling neglected and unloved for a long time.
when were together everything is okay but usually he'd prefer working rather than making social time with me /family or friends and considering it's the holidays, i'd prefer to find someone who's more into me rather than just his own self ego.

Aquarius is insensitive and don't make that good of lovers. They lack passion and sometimes (it may seem) emotions altogether. They are detached from the physical world and live only in their minds (they seek friends or partners that will be mentally stimulating rather than needy or overly emotional).

One of my best friends is an Aquarius, and he can be absolutely wonderful and caring... sometimes. Usually he's in his own little world, caring about his own problems.
