Determining your time of birth?

Hello All. I am simply fascinated by astrology, and want to learn more about my sign, its sun and moon, and the position of the houses. Right now I'm a little stumped though. I don't know the exact time of birth, so its proving difficult to get an accurate natal chart. I use free online sources and all say "Check 12pm if unknown", which I do. But I feel I need a more accurate chart.

So, how does one exactly figure out their time of birth here in the US? I have no living family that would know now. Also, I looked on my birth certificate but it only states my parents names and ages, it says nothing of the time. How does one find this information, how much would it cost, and basically what is required? Or am I simply out of luck, lol. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!

It really depends on the hospital.
If you still live in the state where you
where born you can go to the hospital
& get your records.. i don't think it will cost
you much (or at all). . in my case. . i was born
in NYC and living in Fl so I had to get my mother
to write a letter with her liscense.. etc. (because they
cant give that information over the phone).. So your not
out of luck! All you need is identification. (Birth Cert.,S.S card)

find the hospital they usually have records.

The other 2 answers are correct in the fact you can contact the hospital that you were born in. But you must ask for the time or else most will not put it in. Also you can contact the hall of records in the city you were born in and ask for the same info. This usually cost under $20 in both cases.

If you come up empty in the above methods, you can do a rectification by yourself, seeing you want to know more about astrology, or have a professional astrologer who knows how to do this, do it for you.
