Am I the only one who has noticed this?

I've noticed that Taurus are the only sign who are absolute nonbelievers of astrology, I've met other signs who weren't into this stuff, but Taurus seem to be the most. they don't talk, ask, or pay any type of attention to it. (I don't know if this is necessarily true, but to me, with all the Taurus I know don't). Why do you think this is?

Ok, so a lot of you have noticed it too. A lot of your answers make sense, but I don't think it is because they are earth signs, (because Capricorns and Virgos are too, and they don't seem to be like that) that could be partly why, but I think It's because they are fixed earth signs, so they are not only practical but they are stubborn too, which a lot of you have mentioned as well,

Taurus are down to earth people. They love to work and make money. They are very stubborn in a way and hard to convince them of anything that is not rational in their mind.

If you discuss astrology with Taurus, they will have doubt but if they pay a little attention to it , and they start believing on their own terms, then it will be set until he decides otherwise. Not an easy chore.
Don't try to convince them that astrology is hogwash once you have explained to them that is has a lot of truth. If he accepts that their is some truth in it , you are in for a big surprise if you tell him that it was a joke or that it was all a lie and you made it up.

That is how Taurus reacts. Hard to convince but, once assimilated, it is set in cement.

I've found this to be true with aquarius.
But most likey Taurus are like that because they are so stubborn and HATE change. . so what they believe is what they believe.

I've noticed it too. I think that it's because they're an Earth sign and that doesn't all them really to put their minds in a place of believing because they are too practical!

Taurean tends to take the most commonly accepted view of anything without investigating it. It is most accepted in society to not believe in astrology.

Well i think that it doesnt have to do with your sign. You either believe in astrology or not.

to earth signs, astrology is too far fetched.

to them, if you cant see them, if you cant touch them, its likely that it wouldnt be real

my Sister is a Taurus.
She has a necklace and a candle with a bull on it that says "Taurus" in chinese or something....

To bad she has never even read about her horoscope.....

To think about it, you are right. There is this Taurus woman I know, she don't like it when I talk about things out of this world.

That might be true for some not all Taureans. Its not that some of us dont believe in it. Some do and others dont but those who do study it or read it but dont let it run their lives. Some times they live their days completely parallel to what their horoscopes say because of their stubborn and determined nature. Taureans are also naturally skeptical so they dont really believe everything they hear.
For those who do beleive their horoscopes they never really do believe it 100%. They may know astrology like the back of their hands but they're not going to support it 100%.
Taureans are just too headstrong to go by the judgements of horoscopes or others

Yes, I used to date a Taurus. The concept was entirely too intangible for him to grasp. I think also if he would have acknowledged astrology, he would of had to admit he was stubborn.

Astrology is childish magical thinking. As we get older and more educated, we can rely on testing to determine it's validity. Astrology can and has been tested. It fails to do better than chance.

Some trends do exist.
The more educated, male, and non-ethnic culture, you are less likely your will believe.

Less educated, female, and ethnic culture, the more likely you are to believe.

Now that you mentioned it! All the people who I have met who have said, "I don't believe in that stuff" were Taurus'. I wonder why now?

i agree with you... but in general, most earth people do not really care for it (unless their moon/rising sign's in something like water). my capricorn brother thinks it's all b***. my taurus friends all think it's b***. i just don't talk about it in front of them unless i'd wanted a fight or something...

I don't think it has to do with taurus...I have a Virgo cousin who doesn't believe, my capricorn mother doesn't believe, my Scorpio fiance doesn't believe, my Gemini friend, doesn't believe, my Libra friend doesn't believe.

The point I'm getting as is that there are believers and non believers from every sign. Whether you believe in it on not has more to do with you as opposed to what your sign is.
