Will this Gemini come through, or should I stop wishing?

I used to date this guy (Gemini, I'm a Cancer/Leo) last year. He's awesome, but we decided to just stay friends.

I took him to a Halloween/engagement party for a couple friends of mine a few months ago. He was my date, but we mingled freely. Like I said, just friends. He seemed to have a good time, and got along really well with everyone.

The same group is having a Christmas party next weekend. When I talked to him before Thanksgiving, he said he would totally be interested. I sent him a myspace message with the details, he read it but never got back to me. I don't want to call him and bug him or pressure him, I know he has his own life and issues and I think a new girl in the pic.

Question is, do you think he's coming to the party? I'm not really asking for me, more for the couple people he met a the other party who want to know if he'll be there. I keep telling them I don't know. He's good people, but I don't feel comfortable calling him up and just point-blank asking.

I can tell him something and an hour later, he doesn't remember what I told him. They are scatterbrained. You have to remind him again closer to the time of the party. And...unfortunately...they do have a habit of saying one thing and doing another. What I would do, if you're not comfortable with calling...give his number to the couple and have them call if they are bugging you about it...or vice versa. Send him a myspace message and give him the couple's number.

I think he loves his freedom and he has a million things to do all at once, he'll probably tell you the last minute or not say nothing and pop in and surprise you!

this guy sounds just like me. i kinda do the same thing. he's keeping you in his back pocket unless something better comes up. its not a good trait to have, but we have it. "grass is always greener" mentality. if hes also like me though, you should just call him and ask if he's coming. put him on the spot. if he says yes. then he'll keep the commitment, cause ... well, thats what i'd do.

ofcourse your interested, you dont care enough to worry about other people. well now we got that sorted, heres what i have to say.

dont ring him, dont remind him. if he comes he comes. and ofcourse he had lots of fun at the party, its becuase he was meeting new people. geminis get bored of people pretty easily so he would've had a ball meeting new peeps.

with your star sign, its awsome that your 1/2 leo becuase gemini and leo are match made in heaven. but the cancer part may just be a turn off to a gemini, dont get me wrong! cancers are awsome people! but not for a gemini :P
