-sense of humour (not the sick kind)
-honesty over lying (yet not brtual honesty, 'yes honey, those pantyhose do make your thighs look fat!")
-open instead of closed books (talk about stuff that bothers you, but dont be whiney)
-open minded about the relationship (respect her space and privacy)
-trust as you would like to be trusted
-caring (little things like sewing on a button on her top when you notice it is missing or ironing her work cothes without being told, or even remembering her favourite food and cooking it for her,little surprises like that)
-attentivness (look for signs like when you go shopping and see if she hints around and shows interest in anything in the stores, this means that there is a birthday, an anniversary or valentine's day coming up. guys arent very good with dates so its a good idea to keep a record of these on your blackberry or cell phone)
-sensitivity (pay close attention to what you say to her because it can easily be misinterpreted coz guys have a very blunt way of saying things that can hurt at times)
-make sacrifices whenever you can, if ou do she will too. after all thats what marraige is about, give-take.
-when i get all worked up in a frenzy about something that happens at work, my husband just pretends to be overly worked up to match my outburst, to show me he really wants to care but he doesnt know why i'm upset. and he makes me laugh and calms me down long enough to get a straight sentance out of me.

I have the best hubby in the world. He's loving and caring and puts up with hell from me at times and keeps on loving me. We've waded through a mountain of troubles together and he has always lead us through. Dependability is a big plus and an even bigger plus is he looks Gr-r-reat in a pair of tight jeans!!!!
