Why do people think if you are emotional then it is a sign of weakness but ...?

then why is Scorpio male and female considered the most powerful and strongest of the zodiac sign. This is claimed by many astrologers. The Scorpio is a water sign.

The most powerful in what sense? Financially? Emotionally, Intellectually? Mentally ? Psychically ? Physically ? How.....?
I need to know.

All signs have heir own strength and weaknesses and Scorpio, as far as I am concern, has just as many if not more.

Emotions are not a sign of weakness . It shows the sensitivity to feelings towards others. You need emotions to play an instrument, otherwise, you will sound like a robot.

You need sensitivity to spare lives, saves live. Emotions are necessary otherwise, we would be at war with everything and everyone.

I think aries and leo are stronger than scorpio in my opinion. But I think scorpio uses its powerful deep emotions to give them power and passion in whatever they're doing. Scorpio imo is not the most powerful because It will hurt them more than they will hurt you because they're water signs. Water elements are empathic and nurturing, just like the earth element.

this question isnt very clear, but society tells us that showing your signs of emotion makes you weak, and mostly people are just to damn busy to care, go to a shrink they say..or tell someone who gives a crap, it's ridiculous, it's perfectly healthy and okay for a boy to cry, and when a guy say's "your being emotional" well yes it's cuz Im human thanks very much, and Im a woman so that makes me emotional and if you want me to be anything else....it just defies God. it's the way he made us for crying out loud...lol hope that helps.

The question is too vague. Strong in terms of what? Passion, that is all I can think of since Scorpio is a water element.
Other traits, such as using brute force can be found strongest in a libra or aries. Most controlling = leo.

As for being emotional, it is because people will try to walk over someone emotional and emotional become tend to display poor judgement.

Aries and Leo are a lot stronger than Scorpio. I am not saying that because i am a Aries i am saying that because Aries is ruled by Mars and Mars is the god of war. People say Scorpio is a strong sign because until Pluto was discovered Scorpios ruling planet was Mars also. Fire signs tend to be more strong but Capricorn is also a very divine sign. I say the top three strongest signs would be Aries, Leo and Capricorn. People believe that Scorpio i so strong because Scorpio is just so intense and deep. Thee words hurt. Just like the Scorpion they sting very bad and sometimes deadly.
