I am a Cancer with a Capricorn moon and an Aries ascendant. Other than Cancer sun I have no other water signs in my natal chart. So, when people say Cancers are sensitive, emotional homebodies... I laugh!! I am slightly shy, but that's me observing to see who the idiots are in the room! :)

I LOVE adventure and fun. I hate to be at home unless I'm in need of a good rest. I would much rather be at a party or with friends than be alone. I am outspoken and strong, and I don't like to cry in front of others. I also don't grativate to other water signs. I'm usually friends with fire or air signs, especially Aries and Sagittarius.

I believe my Aries rising has a big effect on my personality. I was the bossy kid who always played the leader role. I believe all three help me be very balanced and well-rounded.

Oh, and although I completely understand you're question, don't think water signs can't be dynamic or outgoing. Each individual is different. I've known some shy Leos and some crazy, extroverted Taureans!! :)

That's cool, because i'm a Virgo sun. But the airy ascendant is also backed up by my Gemini moon. I'm sure that's my biggest aspect that adds to any social success.
