come on, u guys, i hav little time! Go with the Jazz bass. I like the versitility of having two pickups over one. I believe the 70's J-bass has a thinner neck as well making it easier to play.
I have a Fender standard J-bass just for kicks. I like getting everything from usual bassy tones to the trebly sounds of say Geddy Lee. i would go with the 70's jazz. i just a cheap jazz bass and i love it. i use it more than my top dollar basses. i think the jazz bass sounds awesome. many great bassists play the j-bass too. i would go with it |
