What is the best insturment out of Flute, Clarinet, Alto Sax, Trumpet, Trombone, or Snare Drum? |
I NEED an answer!!! before tomorrow I have been a drummer for about 40 years and never heard of someone just playing only a Snare Drum (a complete set..yes) so, I'd pick the Alto Sax because my son plays the Tenor Sax. trombone is what i play. i love it, u have be willing to do it, just like any instrument. i think also the snare drum would be fun fun. come on, everyone plays the trumpet, flute, and clarinet. trombone is extremely fun, i used to play oboe and it was too hard.. whatever you think you will be good at, go for it =x] flute, clairinet, or snare... if u enjoy beats- snare. if you enjoy softer lullabyish music, flute and clarinet is a base (not bass) instrument so it is also very important for Jazz..? Tuba. The flute. It is so easy 2 play. I've been playing for 3 years The accordion.... No seriously, I would recommend the Clarinet. If you learn it, the transistion to sax or even flute becomes easier if you want to learn multiple instruments. The different styes of clarinet have a good range and it fits well with all styles of music. I play the clarinet. It is a very versatile instrument. Also, the clarinet has a range of sounds, unlike a brass instrument. Plus, it makes you have a great lung capacity for hitting those high notes! I played the clarinet for 8 years and I really enjoyed it. It's an easy one to start to learn. Alto sax is best, but takes the most skill. You need good finger speed and coordination. Also your embouchure (lip and mouth strength and pressure) is important. Trumpet, dont let the others lie to you depends on what u like to play. The flute, clarinet and the alto sax are woodwind instruments. Trumpet, Alto Sax, and Trombone are brass instruments while snare drum is a drum. Considering I play trumpet I am partial to the instrument though I would love to hear a jazz trombone the clarinet is a good instrument to learn. I started out playing it and quickly picked up the flute and sax. if the arrangement's good, they all sound great together, there is no BEST instrument, it depends on the player This is not a fair question. All instruments are the BEST! Learning how to play an instrument is something that will be with you the rest of your life. NO one can take it from you. If you really devote yourself to playing an instrument, or a particular genre of music, you will have a lifetime of enjoyment. I cannont imagine what my life would have been like without music? I will attempt to answer your question though. From a difficulty standpoint Flute is one of the toughest. If you choose Drums you will not learn about reading music initially. I would narrow the choice down to Trumpet, Alto Sax, or Trombone. These 3 intruments will give you a lot of opportunities to play different types of music. Jazz, classical, rock, country, blues whatever you chooose. Trumpet and Trombone are very physical instruments. I am a trumpet player. Primarily a jazz trumpeter. I will say this. Had I been a sax player I would have had more playing opportunities. In most cases when you see a band with 1 horn, it is a sax player. If I were choosing today it would be SAX. Good luck with whatever you choose. The most important thing is that you choose something and learn to play music. Keep in mind, choosing what to play is the EASY part. PRACTICING EVERY DAY is the hard part. DO NOT GIVE UP. PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE. It will pay off huge dividends. Alto Sax. In order of what is the sexiest to what is the most boring: After looking at everyone's answers the last thing you want to look at is another music fanatic. Oh well. I have learned many instruments, and the easiest one I've learned to play has been the Trombone. The flute I've been playing the longest. If you really want to excel, then play it. But as you advance, it becomes the hardest with really fast songs that are hard to play. And the snare drum? Please. Drummers aren't musicians. They just know how to move their hands really fast in good time. |
