What is a good and cheap tenor saxophone for a intermediate-advanced player?

I have been playing tenor sax for about 5 years and I need to get another one.....which one should I buy? are there any good ones to get online?

Go buy one that you can play first. If you are looking for that level of an instrument, you want something that you know can play well. Even in brand new instruments, there is variation of quality, and variations of key position, and other things that are the important parts of what makes the instrument worth its value. Don't buy online. Definetely don't buy ebay. Go to the music stores and try all the horsn you can. This would be like buying a Mercedez sight unseen and hoping that it all is going to be what you want it to be. No one who really cares about what they are buying would do that, so why do that with your instrument?

You can check out eBay or this website:

I have bought a couple of horns from Dominic and his DC Pro 'Big Bell' series are really nice and inexpensive compared to so many others.

there's no such thing as good AND cheap, if you're serious about your playing, get either a selmer, or a yamaha, not cheap initialy, but will last you long enough to pay for itself 3 times over,
