Jazz Song?

does anyone know the name of the jazz song in this link?

It kinda sounds like a variation on 'The Masquerade Is Over', but I may be wrong. Similar progression.

I couldn't hear anything. .

Its sounds like the prelude of Ernie's Tune. I can't say that too confidently though.

You can hear one version of Ernie's Tune on the Dexter Gordon album called Dexter's Calling.

I have to admit that I don't know but it sounded sweet. I thought it was unusual how the saxophone strap was used by the saxophonist. Unusual application.

That's CLEARLY John Coltrane's tenor, but I'm blanking on the tune. Trane's sound is instantly recognziable.

Check back here because I'll try to edit this post with the title if somebody doesn't beat me to it. But I'm certain that it's the opening few bars of Trane c. 1956.

edit #1: I'm not sure it's the Kieth Loftis guy actually playing it. His embrouchure looks right but you can't really see his hands fingering the instrument. And it sounds monoaural, which makes me believe he's lip-synching to a Trane track.

its pretty cool

who will need to know stupid jazz songs
