So what music by miles davis?

I need to do a improvisation over the song so what by miles davis, does anyone know where i can get just the backing music for the song.

Check into the Jamey Aebersold CDs. These are amazing tools to learn improv. They have repeated chorused of rhythm section comping, and will work for any key instruments.

Do the right thing, buy a real book.

your best bet is the jamey aebersold book/cd's
you get a real band (not a synth) playing the riffs and changes and several choruses to practice soloing over.
