Whats the name of this jazz pianist?

He played for the cartoon series "Charie ,Snoopy"(maybe incorrect)

I also forgot this famous cartoon series" name

Vince Guaraldi is the jazz pianist/combo leader who composed the music for the "Peanuts" (Charlie Brown) cartoon specials until his untimely death in 1976. He also had a pop hit with the song "Cast Your Fate To The Wind" in the early Sixties.

BTW: the theme song for those Charlie Brown cartoons is titled "Linus and Lucy".

I think you mean Charlie Brown? The Peanuts.
The pianists name is Vince Guraldi.

LL

yeah, vince guaraldi is so neat. i like to figure out exactly what hes playing

The song is "Lioness" (or close to it), by David Benoit, a fine writer/player. You might find the video from the library under one of the TV specials, doing the animated version of the "Charlie Brown" cartoon, which first aired this, 20+ yrs. ago.
Songs from that are on his "best of" stuff.

The Vince Guaraldi Trio played the music for the Charlie Brown stuff (from Peanuts).

He was a real jazz musician, and had other records not connected with cartoons. He played with Cal Tjader before forming his own trio.

He died way too young.
