What is your ideal way to listen to music?

Whats the best way, for you, to really hear the music that blows you away?

with my ears

for me is jazz, lately i'm in luv with jazz. i'm using my ears, my heart and my brain to enjoy it.

when my family gets together and plays. it really excites me.

Live, preferably. Then you can see it, feel it, and hear it all at the same time. If not live, I prefer headphones (enclosed ear), but I get paranoid that I'm going to miss a phone call or the door bell. Good set of 'phones does wonders to any music.

I love to listen to jazz.When my parents aren't home,Iturn on the speakers and I blast Count Basie, Maynrd Ferguson and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy into the ears of my neighboors.I close my eyes and I try to imagine the notes in my head.AHHHH!!
