can anyone give me some advice about this mouthpiece? it looks tight but im wondering if it sounds as good as it looks

if this isnt good can anyone give me a suggestion. i play tenor sax jazz I've never played it, nor have I heard of it. That doesn't mean a lot though. If you are able to get your lips on one on try it out, go for it. I would never buy a mouthpiece without getting to play it first. Mouthpieces can change from each one to the next, so I wouldn't even buy one online after trying the same make/model out somewhere else. And recommendations about what would be a good mouthpiece for you are junk because, are we you? I've had four different people play the exact same setup (handing the same sax/mouthpiece/ligature around) and we got four different sounds. Go try mouthpieces, and find one that gives you the tone you like. After all, what you like is different from what I like, and what others like too. |
