What are some good modern jazz musicans? and what is your favorite modern jazz song?

i love jazz but find trouble finding more recent jazz musicans. It can also be mainstream people who play jazz songs such as Norah Jones and some John Mayer songs. So what do you got?

1st off the fact that crazy 3rb or whatever mentions kenny garett of notoriously know as kenny g is a testiment to the fact that he doesn't know much. if you're serious about jazz you will soon grow to hate him more than anything.

Gerald Albright is amazing especially on his recording of Sussudio and Against All Odds with Phil Collins Big Band.

Joshua Redman, Dave Sanborn come to mind, but I don't know exactly what kind of Jazz you're talking about (Smooth Jazz, Straight-ahead, Fusion). Subscribe to something like Yahoo Music Jukebox and listen to artists while you check your email.
There are plenty of great artists out there, check out your local Jazz radio station. Spend some time listening, and you'll know all kinds of jazz artists in a short while.

Marcus Miller and Ronny Jordan are my favorites. My favorite song is ''After Hours'' by Ronny Jordan.
