Does any body know any good death-jazz bands?

i love cynic, atheist and the lesser known linear sphere, but any body know some other really good jazz influenced metal bands?

I can't say that I've heard of those bands you mentioned, however I have heard of Dream Theater, as the other person has already mentioned.

Since I'm unsure on exactly what sounds you're after, yet extremely intrigued, may I suggest some of Miles Davis' hard fusion from the 70s? One particular song is a killer for me, and its from the album A Tribute to Jack Johnson. The 24-odd-minute song is called Right Off. A real HEAVY groove, yet not full-on fast, like you may be after.

Hope you can dig this stuff too, man. Hey, if you don't mind, could you list off to me a few other metal-jazz bands you are aware of? I think I might go and get in to this style and have a listen.

From a 23-year old jazz trumpeter, thanks man.
