Frank Sinatra or Ella Fiztgerald?

I love them both! I don't know whos best! What do you think?

It depends on what you are looking for, but nobody could scat like Ella Ella was more jazzy while Frank was more of a crooner.

Sinatra is probably one of my 3 top male singers but I wouldn't classify him as a jazz singer. And speaking of Ella, I just heard a song the other day by Damita Jo who can do a real good job of scat singing. But you're right. Ella and Frank real good.

Ella Fitzgerald could sing without a band and be excellent. She could improvise at will on any songs. She had soul.
Frank Sinatra was also good but needed a solid background. He was more commercial. Different style.
