Lester Parker? Who is that? Do you mean Lester Young or Charlie Parker? Regardless of who you mean, NO they were not gay! What would make you ask such a question? The only thing that was important to Charlie Parker or Billie Holiday was heroin. I don't believe Lester Young (who lived with Billie Holiday toward the end of their lives) was as much of a junkie as a drinker.
