Where can i go to see jazz concerts in southern california?

i a taking a jazz history class and i need to attend a couple of jazz performances.

I went to the Hollywood Bowl to see BB King. You need to check the calender if they'll be having some jazz concerts. Go to myspace and check for members who do jazz bits. They'll have dates of when they play.
