Jazz Trombonists?

Any suggestions for good jazz trombone players I can listen to? (preferably downloadable from iTunes)

Thanks!

As mentioned, J.J. Johnson was one of the best. But there was also Jack Teagarden who influenced a lot of musicians.
Stan Kenton band liked to use trombone and bass trombone. Archie Lecoque plays great solos with this band.
Frank Rossolino also played with Kenton, he is great.
iTunes is great. Try Limewire also, I picked up a lot of music from that site.

JJ Johnson

Frank Rozolino, played with the old Lighthouse All Stars and the Tonight Show band. Great!

Jimmy Kneppler. Try listening to him on the Charles Mingus song called Invisible Lady.

Grachan Moncour III has a great album called Exploration. He has been around since the 1960's. He plays on some Blue Note record dates.

In terms of contemporary players, i think Steve Turre would be the guy to listen to.

John Allred (my personal favorite), Jim Pugh (he's not really on itunes... but you can youtube him, you'll be glad you did!), John Fedchock, Andy Martin, Fred Wesley, Curtis Fuller, JJ Johnson, Carl Fontana, the list goes on...

J.J Johnson, Curtis Fuller, Lawrence Brown, Wycliffe Gordon, Al Grey, Slide Hampton

Fred Wesley, Bill Watrous, Jeff Bradshaw are just a few.
