Try 'Live Evil' by Miles Davis (yeah he's a trumpet player but that album has some great guitar and drums on it - you will like it if you're into rock)

Try Grant Green's album Matador. This album is guitar, bass, piano, and drums. The music is good and easy to like for a jazz beginner.

You have GOT to check out Joe Pass. He is THE jazz guitarist. He plays standards mostly - amazing, AMAZING player.
