Where can I find free jazz lead sheets online?
I own both legal real books but sometime I don't have them on hand and something nice online would be great. try downloading a torrent. first, you need a torrent downloader program like bittorrent to download the files. here is a link of the torrent for real book vols. 1-3: http://www.torrentspy.com/torrent/127585... Unfortunately, it won't be legal if it is online. I completely understand and sympathize with you, but all of that work is copyright protected. If you were to download a copy of THe Real Book, there are over 200 songs in it. It would carry a penalty of $100,000 PER SONG. I personally don't have $20,000,000 to blow for downloading sheet music, and I doubt you do too. yeah what he said is really true. try picking up the gordon goodwin phat band book it comes with a cd and has a bunch of his songs with all the lead sheets for them even some soprano sheets. the solo sections are left blank so you can solo and there's even some transcribed solos in the back, its an awesome book that i've spent hours and hours playing. you wont regret getting it. |
