Jazz and Poetry Lounges in Washington DC area?

Hey guy's! I'm looking for a great hang out spot, and as you can you see from my request I enjoy jazz and spoken word. Please help me find a weekend chill spot. Many thanks in advance!!

The South River Cafe in Edgewater, MD is a good place and they have open mic on Monday nights.

If you want a good laugh come to karaoke this Thursday at the Ebbtide. About 30 of us will be there having a blast.
