Eric dolphy played three instruments which one did he love the best?

Bass Clarinet.
He really gets going wild on it.

More than that, I think - bass clarinet, flute, piccolo, clarinet and alto sax. Not sure which was his personal favourite to play, but I have to thank Frank Zappa for introducing him to me indirectly via the song "The Eric Dolphy Memorial Barbecue". It's a shame these two never collaborated, as I think Zappa would have genuinely loved the quirkiness and originality of Eric's playing on his work. A full Dolphy-Zappa album would be wild.

I personally love his bass clarinet playing, he was a freak on that thing.
