Who was the original artist for the song "All of Me"?

Who was the original artist for the song "All of Me"?

It was first recorded by Belle Baker.

evanessance!!! have the c.d. it rocks!!!(old one)

Billie Holiday.

Cole Porter wrote the songs in the 1940's, though he never preformed it. This song has been sung and preformed by such artists like-
Nina Simone, Diana Krall, Anita ODay, Frank Sinatra, Joey
DeFrancesco, Dave Brubek, Nancy Wilson, Peggy Lee, and even NOFX did a version of it.

I think it was Billie Holiday. The song was written by Seymour Simons and Gerald Marks.

BTW Cole Porter did write many many songs, but not this one!

First recorded by Belle Baker, it has become one of the most recorded songs of its era, with notable versions by Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Django Reinhardt and Willie Nelson. In a episode of Sanford and Son, Redd Foxx (joined by Scatman Crothers on guitar) sings a short but memorable version. In more recent years it has been recorded by Pia Zadora and Anne Murray. . Also, a Punk Rock rendition of the song was recorded by NOFX

Don't know, but the Billie Holiday version is great. One of my favs.

Cole Porter wrote the lyrics and Billie Holiday made the song famous!

try willie neilson, george benson or frank sinatra ;)
