Louis Armstrong?

Where in New Orleans is his birthplace? I want to know the complete address for visiting it. Is there a museum now?

His place of birth is in Uptown New Orleans. I guess you can't find it now since Hurricane Katrina has destroyed almost everything in New Orleans.

Louis Armstrong House Museum, in Corona, Queens, New York City.

There is a museum...near the French Quarter.

I have no idea where he was born, but he was one of the greatest entertainers of all time. I love the music he and Ella did together. I especially love their Christmas Song.

All I know about Louie Armstrong is I inherrited his voice.

The house he lived in when he died is a museum:

The Louis Armstrong House & Archives, at 34-56 107th Street (between 34th and 35th Avenues) in Corona, Queens

which is in New York? Anyway, he either grew up in Storyville or Uptown, New Orleans, but I'd imagine you can't find his house because the place was so poor and it was over 100 years ago so it's all been sort of redeveloped.

Here is an excerpt from the Village Voice:

Louis Armstrong was born 100 years ago, on August 4, 1901, in a squat, wooden, ramshackle building in a destitute and violent area of New Orleans known as "the Battlefield."

Thus ... we may never know EXATLY where he was born.

If it helpes, he is buried at:

Flushing Cemetery, Flushing, NY

i don't know that but google his name, and if i can recommend a song, "what a wonderful world" i am in my middle skool jazz band and had 2 play that song and absolutely loved it
