Who, in your oppinoin, is the most talented jazz guitarist? |
Who, in your oppinoin, is the most talented jazz guitarist? Django Rheinhart George Benson. Herb Ellis Stanley Jordan. No one else can tap like he does. Check out Magic Fingers. Lot's good guitarists out there, but I really like George Benson. aldi meola, i am not so sure. Wes Montgomery was Boss guitar (RIP). Django - not bad for a guy with only 2 working fingers on his fret hand! Ronny Jordan. I am torn between Joe Pass and Les Paul This man invented his own style, he plays fours parts with two hands. You might know him from a group called Tuck and Patti. This man is truly amazing. His name is Tuck Andress, I really do believe that he is the greatest jazz guitarist who has ever drawn a breath. Django was amazing... he played with only two fingers on his left hand (the other two had been badly burned and weren't usable) Mike Stern My favorite is George Benson, but I like Tim Bowman and Norman Brown as well. Wes Montgomery Les Paul and Django Rheinhart Pat Metheney, Les paul Django Reinhardt. Anthony Wilson is worth a listen. |
