Does anyone remember the song "Badiyah?"?

During the early 80's, there was as song that used to be on the radio a lot. I don't know the name of the song, hence the question. I'll do my best to describe the tune.
"BADIYAH! BADIYAH! BADIYAHIYAHIYAHIYAHIYAH! BADIDUHDUHDUH!"

Take 6 remade the song on the "Join the Band" album. I want to know who made the original?

The name of the tune is Badiyah, but I do not know who originally did the track.

Edited to add:
Found it

Earth, Wind and Fire's "Badiyah" (originally titled "Brazilian Rhyme").
