Jazz flute audition pieces?

I have to double on flute for an audition. Does anyone know a good jazz flute piece that I could transcribe for the audition? It can't be too hard because I am not too great at the flute, but I can play at an intermediate level. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

The Tune "St. Thomas" is great on the flute. It's a good standard and it lends itself to the flute... plus its easy to improvise on...
Good luck on your audition.

FLEURETTE AFRICINE (the African Flower), is a song by Billy Strayhorn and Duke Ellington. Its beautiful.

There is a great version of it on James Newton's tribute album to Duke and Billy Strayhorn called, the African Flower. I strongly suggest that you have a listen.

a good one is 'some of these days', its on the ARSBM syllabus, and its got a pretty good section that you can do some improv with in the middle
