Jazz makes me so happy it makes me cry, has anybody felt the same way about Jazz?

I am a military guy I usually do not express any emotions out of the ordinary!! just an average guy but for some reason when I listen to Jazz specially old classic Jazz it makes me so happy I want to cry. My family never listened to Jazz neither they like it... I always wonder why Jazz makes me feel this way...

It's just the lyrics and the tone of the music, it's just so beautiful.
