Anyone know about a cheap music writing program that i can get pretty easily? |
I've been into music for a while, and would like to be able to write some i play jazz, trombone mostly, so if anyone knows anything that can write good trombone... GuitarPro If you can write in standard notation, try Guitar Pro. It's a multitrack program that will play back multiple instruments at once, but it plays in midi. If you've played a lot of Gameboy, then you probably won't mind but some people hate the way midi instruments sound. By the way, it's centered around pop music, and although it's aimed at guitarists, you get a ton of midi sound fonts and have lots of choices for instrumentation, as well as percussion. Guitar Pro is a great and easy use program (you can use standard notation or tablature so you don't even have to read music). The newest version, 5.1, has the Realistc Sound Engine (RSE) so it actually now has realistic sounds. You can find Guitar Pro 5.1 for around $50-60 on Musicians Friend etc. Finale Notepad... FREE Can't get any cheaper than that, |
