I'm a 17 year old without a job, so anything not to expensive would be great, something that i can preview my music audibly, I know, it seems alot to look for, but anything would be great My friend has Finale Allegro, which seems to work great and is a cheaper version that doesn't have all the features of Finale. You can preview your music with it and it has trombone. The latest version(of Finale) has a jazz font. Allegro is $199 if you buy from finalemusic.com. There are two versions that are free, but I don't think they have the features you want. Finale (the whole shebang) has loads of features I think you would like, and its $600 unless you want upgrades. There are other versions too, and you should go to finalemusic.com if you're interested. Hope I could help. Start with Finale Notepad... http://www.finale.com/notepad/
It's the FREE Version.. no cheaper than that.
Then if you find it doesn't meet your needs, you can move up in steps from there. Finale has about 4 levels of spending until you get to the full blown Finale version. |
