Does anyone know of any instrumental smooth jazz bands?

I am looking for some smooth jazz that is strictly instrumental. Just slow jazz I guess. Any help on where to look or who's cd's to buy would be great.

A couple folks that haeven't been mentioned are Peter White and NY Yankee Center fielder Bernie Williams. They both play excellent acoustic guitars and have CD's out(separate artists btw). Peter White used to play for Basia's backup band His brother Danny White is Basia's collaborator of many years and they're working on new stuff for 2008.

also try Chuck Mangione if Flugelhorn is your bag.

Count basie, one of the greatest jazz composers in history, he's developed his own mini genre in jazz, anything by him would be great

Well since nobody has responded, one of my favorites has minimal vocals, It's Sun Goddess by Ramsey Lewis.

On another note, you could try going to amazon.com and selecting music then for genre select jazz and then you can read reviews, and listen to samples from the cd's.
