Growling on the Sax?

I need help with the growl on my sax. I believe you must sing and blow at the same time but im not sure. I have been trying that and it only lasts for a split second. Are there any tips on what i can do to practice this?

Singing while blowing on the sax will create a neat effect sometimes called "multiphonics". It's not the same as growling, which is overblowing while flutter-tonguing (try saying rrrrrrrr like a pirate while blowing hard and you'll hear the result.)

1.Buzzing in the corner of your mouth, works but a little messy

2.Try and "clear your throat" while playing, this is a good way to growl in altissimo because it doesnt effect your embrouchure

3.Place a vibrator in you bell, not sanitary.

try a little vibrato
