I want ti know a few instrumental musicians.?

george martin of beatles fame did a great track called "theme one" ...brilliant.

mike post from the early 70's wrote "classical gas" and recorded an album called "fused" on wb records u.s. issue only.1 track called "afternoon of the rhino" very similar to classical gas!

In the Jazz genre, instrumental material accounts for a huge percentage of the entire idiom.

Heres a brief list (by instrument) of some of the Jazz greats who generally produced tunes sans vocals:

Trumpet: Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillsepie..........
Sax: Charlie Parker, Coltraine........
Piano: Art Tatum, Teddy Wilson..............
Drums: Art Blakey, Buddy Rich, Bellson..........
Bass: Ray Brown, Ron Carter...........
Organ: Jimmy Smith...........
Guitar: Wes Montgomery, Kenny Burell, Charlie Byrd.....

There's a few - there are hundreds, if not thousands more, depending on your taste.

Herbie Hancock,George Duke, Stanley Clark,George Benson,Toney Williams, Bily Cobham and James Bradley Jr.

Eric Dolphy and Charles Mingus are 2 of my faves.

If you are more specific about what you are searching for, I can give you an accurate answer.
