What do the three knobs of a non-Deluxe Fender Jazz Bass do?

I was able to acquire a very worn down Fender Jazz Bass - the wirings are all cut (due to rust/corrosion and what not). I just wanted to know what each of the knobs specifically do/adjust (volume, pick-up, etc.) so I know what wires to solder.

Thanks in advanced...

Here you go:

Volume 1. (Neck Pickup),
Volume 2. (Bridge Pickup),
Master Tone

That's straight from Fender's website. I have a standard Jazz Bass and the Volume 1 is the highest control (closest to the neck) and the Master Tone is closest to the bottom (near the 1/4 inch output).

Here's some bonus....

the owner's manual!
http://www.fender.com/support/manuals/pd...

the standard jazz bass page
http://www.fender.com/products//search.p...
(there's also a support button on the page!)

Good luck and have fun! The wiring should be a cinch!

JB "nailed it." His knob->function description is absolutely correct.

By the way, a tip of the hat to you for your good taste in basses. I've been using a Fender Jazz since the 60's.

ONE KNOB IS VOLUME,ONE IS FOR BASS AND TREBLE, AND THE OTHER ONE IS FOR THE PICK-UP.
