Would a techno remix of John Coltrane's "A Love Supreme" be completely out of line?

I can think of all kinds of ways to make that cool and interesting. If you're going to fool around with a landmark work like A Love Supreme, though, don't just halfass it and throw some beats on it--throw your heart and soul into it, make it your own and do whole new things with it.

i would perfer a regular dj type remix if that makes sense instead of pure techno. It would be out of line though. Jazz is about building on what others have done and expressing it your own way. Sketches of spain, one of the best jazz albums,
