They are on a collision course.
At the moment of impact, what is the speed of the wasp?

It can't be -55m/s as the fly moves in the opposite direction meaning it must be 0m/s.

But it can't be moving at 0m/s as the train is moving at -55m/s.

Is this an engineering phenomenum?

It is 0 because the wasp isnt moving. The train has nothing to do with the wasps speed after it hits.

the fly stops a miniscule part of the train and then acellerates to the trains speed becomming fly goo in the process
