I appreciate the concern being 50 years old I can see the change in climate for myself. I also cannot read a newspaper or watch a newscast without some reference made to global warming. I agree it is a problem that needs to be dealt with. You need to understand that when people log onto Yahoo jokes they are trying to find a respite from the daily routines that make up their lives. The ordinary people that come here probably do not feel the need to dwell on that or the other events in their lives 24/7.
We are just looking for a few chuckles and a little escapism. That does not mean we are burying our heads in the sand nor are we ignoring the problem and hoping it goes away.
There are other categories that best suit the subject matter.

To be fair, we're not even 100% sure that we are in fact causing global warming. Although I must admit a lot of people are very close minded about it. Yet they buy these big 4 wheel drives for small towns, because getting to Tesco to buy your milk about 20 minutes quicker than walking is much more important that coastal towns.

Well you will care about global warming when the world is burning up.
