Have you heard about Mike Huckabee's Son Hanging a stray Dog?

Supposedly, at a boy scout camp where his son was a boy scout counselor, his son hanged a stray dog. It was done while he was governor of Arkansas, and the State Police were told to hush it up. Huckabee never denies it. If asked, he just says that his son made Eagle Scout.

I have no idea why they put this in jokes and riddles. Perhaps because it says "Have you heard...."

How sad.

Not that I was going to vote for him - I'm not - but judging the man based on his idiot son's actions (I've known some really morally lacking eagle scouts) is unfair. He's not being elected for his parenting skills and the kid's mom gets at least half the blame there. The kid should have been made to shovel out kennels at the local animal shelter for the rest of his natural life at the very least.

I would however, be concerned about the whole hushing it up by the State Police thing. That's inappropriate and would bother me as a voter. When will people learn that "the truth shall set you free..."

One thing that really upsets me is when people jump to conclusions before knowing all the facts. I am an animal lover through and through, but no one knows the circumstances behind the event. Purhaps the dog was attacking and there was no other choice. Or maybe it was an act of cuelty. But you will not know this until peopl actually find FACTS instead of creating something that is not real to start with. This is hopw peoples lives get destroyed.....facts people facts....

I would never blame a candidate for something their relative did. What I don't like about Mikey is his sales tax proposal. It would replace all federal taxes with a sky high sales tax on everything but stocks and bonds. That would mean most people would pay tax on almost their entire income while the very wealthy could escape taxes on most of their income. It would fit into Mikey's and Georgy boy's,--- plans to make all of North American into the Mexican image>> A continent of desperate workers with a small super rich ruling class.

I understand your discomfort about the coverup. Those Hope, Arkansas boys are experienced at that, very experienced.
